Armenia has one of the world’s oldest civilizations. As the Austrian Armenologist, Elizabeth Bauer (b.1948) wrote:

“… much too little has been known about Armenia, even though, culturally speaking, Europe owes her a considerable debt. At the dawn of history, Armenia was one of the cradles of civilisation. Millennia before the Christian era, the economy, arts and popular traditions of Armenia had developed to such an extent that her culture stimulated Egypt, Greece and Rome both materially andThe spiritually. ”

The College is situated in an environment with highly sustained by closely-knit family ties. Society is based on strong relationships where parents bring up their children, support them emotionally and financially and in turn, the children take care of their parents. This arrangement applies to extended family and friends, both nationally and internationally creating a strong base of shared values.
